South Florida - FT. LAUDERDALE -- OmniComm Systems, Inc. , one of the fastest growing companies in the EDC marketplace, announced today that it has entered into a strategic partnership with Spectrum Pharmaceutical Research Corporation (www.spectrumcro.com), a Contract Research Organization (CRO) located in San Antonio, TX.

The TrialMaster® system, the core product of OmniComm Systems (www.omnicomm.com), provides Spectrum with a 21 CRF Part 11 compliant Internet-based data and trial management solution that greatly increases the efficiency, security and integrity of clinical research data. Founded in 1987, Spectrum has become a trusted clinical research partner to the pharmaceutical, biotech, and medical device industries. The most recent collaboration between OmniComm and Spectrum was initiated by a biopharmaceutical sponsor selecting the two companies for a planned Phase I study.

Spectrum's President, Toby Muligan, stated, "Having worked with OmniComm in the past, we knew they were the perfect match to satisfy our client's high level expectations in terms of service, price, and performance. Our client's trials often have very complex design requirements that go far beyond standard EDC implementation. As a CRO, OmniComm's TrialMaster solution offers us the best of both worlds in that we can deliver to our clients the functionality they desire at a price that offers outstanding value."

OmniComm System's CEO, Cornelis Wit, further stated, "OmniComm is pleased that Spectrum is a member of our growing list of CRO Partners. With special service packaging and pricing, CROs like Spectrum can now deliver trials deploying our TrialMaster EDC and trial management solution at lower prices than those run with paper forms. This is a win-win business model for all parties."
